Community Manager - English & Bahasa

About The Role

You will run daily community operations across Discord. You will keep the community active, safe, and organized through engagement, moderation, events, and structured feedback. You will also support creator and ambassador workflows, including operational queues like tickets and reporting.

What you will do:

  • Engage daily with community members and keep conversations active and welcoming.

  • Moderate Discord channels, enforce rules consistently, and manage flagged content and reports (warnings, timeouts, bans).

  • Run or support community activities like events, tournaments, streams, and Discord takeovers.

  • Support ambassador workflows: process applications and onboarding, help coordinate activations, and support regional community needs (including exploring new regional communities when relevant).

  • Support creator workflows: process tickets in shared inboxes and application servers and help manage creator requests.

  • Review winner submissions for compliance and execute reward delivery for community and ambassador activities.

  • Track highlights, bugs, sentiment, and risks; escalate through defined internal channels.

  • Contribute to daily community feedback reporting and operational updates.

About you

  • You speak Bahasa Indonesia at an advanced level (C1 minimum) and English at an intermediate level (B2 minimum)

  • You have managed online communities before, ideally on Discord.

  • You have moderated before and can enforce guidelines consistently.

  • You stay calm in conflict and can de-escalate situations with fairness and clarity.

  • You are organized and can work through queues (tickets, reports, reward processing) with high accuracy.

Nice to have:

  • You have supported creator or ambassador programs before.

  • You have run events or livestream support before.

  • You have handled operational queues related to brand protection or policy enforcement.

Technical requirements

  • A minimum internet speed of 15 Mb/s download and 15 Mb/s upload with Latency < 120 ms, internationally

  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM

  • Windows 11 (All editions except Windows S Mode), or macOS 13.0 or newer

  • A processor with a CPU Mark of at least 9220, like Intel i5-8400, or stronger (Has to be 8th Gen Intel or above, if Ryzen, 2nd Gen or above)

  • A GPU with a G3D Rating of 4806, like GTX 760, or stronger

  • A smartphone usable for two-factor authentication that runs at least:

    • Android 10.0 or newer

    • Apple iOS 16.0 or newer
