Client Insights Analyst
About InDebted: InDebted provides future-thinking organisations with products and solutions to support overdue consumers through debt. Backed by technology with a human touch, we use machine learning and AI to personalise the collections journey and champion positive customer experiences — all so we can change the world of consumer debt for good.
Founded in Australia, today we're a team of over 300 people living and working around the world. We're rapidly expanding throughout North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. We’re a $50m revenue (and growing) organisation, having recently completed our Series C funding round, backed by leading investors such as Airtree. Now is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to make the experience of debt resolution smoother, and more human.
We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior Client Analyst supporting our newly created regionalised structure. This is not a traditional reporting role: the ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to the business, helping to design scalable insight engines, prototype decision-support systems, and lead the next wave of analytics across high-impact problem spaces. Being a client focused role, experience in client presentations is important. This role is newly created, reflecting our evolving focus on AI-assisted insight delivery, proactive scenario modeling, and cloud-first analytical architecture. You will work on problems that were previously underserved by traditional analytics and help define the frameworks that power executive decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner with internal client leads and external stakeholders to define analytical needs and translate them into high-impact deliverables
Develop and maintain tailored dashboards, cohort trackers, and insight narratives that reveal commercial and operational levers
Lead deep dives into performance variability, liquidation trends, customer segments, and treatment outcomes
Deliver strategic presentations to client stakeholders with clear recommendations and hypotheses for testing
Build and refine repeatable insight models that support benchmarking, campaign planning, and forecasting
Mentor junior analysts in developing storytelling, interpretation, and client-facing analytics skills
Play a lead role in driving cross-client insight standardisation and reporting automation
Experience and Skills:
Present findings directly to client stakeholders in recurring forums and bespoke sessions
Translate data into compelling narratives, offering recommendations rooted in behavioral trends and financial performance
Build trust through clear, commercially relevant storytelling that supports client decisions
Respond dynamically to client questions, developing new lenses and views as their needs evolve
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field
7+ years of experience in analytics, with a clear focus on client-facing, commercial, or strategic work
Expert-level SQL, with proven experience extracting and transforming large datasets
Strong communication skills, with a track record of presenting insights to external stakeholders
Deep understanding of cohort analysis, performance attribution, and outcome modeling
Skilled in Tableau or similar BI tools, with the ability to build intuitive and visually engaging dashboards
Able to work independently and prioritize long-term value over short-term output
Proven experience mentoring peers and contributing to a collaborative analytics culture
Preferred:
Experience in fintech, financial services, or recovery analytics
Familiarity with Snowflake and/or cloud-native data environments
Exposure to forecasting, predictive modeling, or experimental design (A/B testing)
Consulting or agency-side experience highly regarded
Tools used by Insights Team:
Languages: SQL, Python
Platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Tableau
Workflow Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git
Optional: dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration frameworks
Our benefits packages vary depending on region and role requirements. Our talent acquisition team will be able to share more during the recruitment process.
At InDebted, we respect and celebrate the unique attributes, characteristics, and perspectives that make each person who they are. We also believe that bringing diverse individuals together allows us to build better products and a better overall company. InDebted is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
For Recruiters: We appreciate the interest of all candidates and recruitment agencies, however for this role we are managing this hiring process internally and will not be accepting applications through recruitment agencies. Thank you!
