Business Systems Analyst - HR Systems
What is The Role
As a Business Systems Analyst for our Workday & ServiceNow HR Systems, the successful candidate will help us support our global workforce in using and optimizing our systems usage.
Partnering closely with HR, IT, leadership and multi-functional teams, you will support our strategic approach to systems used globally. This is a distributed (remote) role and can be based anywhere within the United States Central or Eastern Timezone.
What You Will Be Doing
The Business Systems Analyst will foster a customer-centric approach to deliver robust tools and scalable programs across Elastic through supporting the automation, improvements, and updates for our HR systems.
Project & Improvement Responsibilities
Research and analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and assess software needs
Develop functional requirements and design solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness through partnership with our HRIS team
Coordinate the testing and implementation of technology solutions
Build and deliver user training and support for new software functionality
Develop, monitor, and handle project resources to ensure successful project implementation
Collaborate with HR Systems Analysts to implement and update Workday and ServiceNow software
System Maintenance & Optimization
Ensure Internal customers are advised of system changes, improvements, and new functionality.
Drive and suggest projects that enhance and optimize the use of Workday and ServiceNow at Elastic.
Uphold and champion data architecture and governance models to guarantee data integrity.
Partner with internal customers to fully understand and own the business problems they are solving, and then translate those into well documented, comprehensive requirements.
Continuously monitor recurring issues, system or data gaps, and process gaps to actively find opportunities for increased efficiency and enhancements.
Develop and maintain internal HRIS standard operating procedures (SOPs), and use those standards to communicate system functionality and processes.
Collaborate with vendors and Information Security to participate in security activities for HR systems and other projects as the business requires.
Keep internal customers advised of system changes, enhancements, and new functionality.

Testing experience (both end-to-end and user acceptance)
Project management skills (A Must)

User-centric approach; able to understand how to deliver business objectives in ways that optimize the user experience
Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization; influence behavior, and lead change
High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of systems, software development, and databases, familiarity with ServiceNow Or Workday required.
