Job Description

The Bid Specialist will support the proposal development process.

Work Location: Manila, Philippines, or Gurugram, India Work Arrangement: Remote ( can work from office if they are within a 30 km radius ) Work Schedule: APAC 1st Shift  Specific requirements: Experience supporting PowerPoint presentations and using MS Office applications (MS Word) to craft compelling proposals is required. Experience using bid management platforms such as Loopio is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

An exceptional Bid Specialist is customer-centric, analytical and results-oriented with a strong understanding the client program or team needs within their service delivery area. Additionally, the Bid Specialist has:

  • Build, review, format, and proof PowerPoint sales presentations.

  • Conduct internet research on sales targets and prospects.

  • Provide high-touch customer service to support the Business Development team throughout the sales cycle.

  • Coordinate development, finalization, and submission of RFIs and RFPs.

  • Develop, proof, edit, format, and create proposals and presentations (PowerPoint or Word documents) used in the sales process.

  • Research, analyze, and report information related to prospective accounts. Information includes company demographics, events, press releases, and leadership/employee information.

  • Update and maintain core content library, such as case studies and country overviews.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of business experience, preferably in a proposal management function.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and content development.

  • Strong communication skills and business acumen.

  • Ability to take initiative and creatively solve problems.

  • Ability to work successfully in a fast paced, ever-changing environment on multiple projects.

  • Ability to take a proactive approach, anticipating needs and opportunities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Exposure:

  • Have a minimum of two years of business experience, preferably in a proposal management function.

  • Development, finalization and submission of RFIs and RFPs (required).

  • High-touch customer service to support the Business Development team throughout the sales cycle (preferred).
