Associate Principal People Systems Analyst
Job Description
The Associate Principal People Systems Analyst leads the design, optimization, and governance of complex People systems initiatives, with deep expertise in Workday. This role acts as a strategic and technical advisor, partnering with senior stakeholders across People Operations, Total Rewards, IT, and Legal to implement scalable solutions that enhance employee experience, data integrity, and process efficiency. The ideal candidate brings expert-level systems knowledge, analytical problem-solving ability, and strong leadership in enterprise system strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of advanced Workday modules and enhancements
Partner with senior stakeholders to define system requirements and shape long-term systems strategy
Drive enterprise-level projects, including new module deployments, integrations, and automation initiatives
Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system performance across platforms
Design advanced reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics in support of cross-functional needs
Serve as a subject matter expert across key Workday domains (e.g., Compensation, Benefits (US), Payroll, Absence, Advanced Reporting)
Lead resolution of complex system issues and conduct root cause analysis
Support Workday releases, including impact assessments, regression testing, and change documentation
Mentor and support other analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and process consistency
Contribute to roadmap planning and decisions on long-term architecture and system optimization
Skills and Experience
8–10 years of experience in People Systems, HRIS, or enterprise systems roles
Extensive experience with Workday configuration and systems leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
Proven ability to lead systems initiatives from strategy to execution
Strong stakeholder communication, analytical thinking, and project management skills

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. $110,000—$185,000 USD
