Algorithmic Trader
Role
An outstanding opportunity to join sFOX, we are looking for an Algorithmic Trader with strong programming skills in python, and preferably one low level language with experience in HFT, liquidity, execution and crypto. You will be working as part of a team to improve the current SFOX platforms algos, liquidity, trading products and will receive a large amount of independence to develop your own algos and improve where possible the existing internal strategies.
Responsibilities
You will be tasked with the creation of new trading products in various asset classes (spot, derivatives, Defi) and improving existing strategies and expanding them to new markets
Help to build out and improve the data analytics, and use this to analyse the large amounts of data SFOX has to generate insights, automatic reporting, optimising strategies and being able to explain your findings to management
Work closely with sales and trading partners to help improve liquidity on the SFOX platform and price clients OTC where needed and manage the risk associated
Be responsible for the internal trading books, risk management, and internal trading applications
Design, implement and improve existing market making and taking models
Develop short term risk management techniques, trading signals and optimise parameters through back testing across SFOX’s trading suite
Identify market microstructure patterns and trading opportunities
Improve and maintain the current SFOX infrastructure in Golang
Requirements
5 +Years experience in a relevant role
Strong coding skills in a data science language (python preferred) and a lower level language (go, c++, rust)
Trading / risk management / liquidity provisioning experience is preferred
Strong analytical skills
An interest in crypto and DeFi, the various assets classes, exchanges (DEX’s) and keeping track of the new developments in the space
Have a product owner mentality, focusing on results, explaining them using data and focussing on the long term business strategy
