We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our sales team in the UK, we have offices in London and Daventry and the role is expected to work from home regularly but with frequent visits to both premises. For the Account Executive role Axon is seeking professionals that can work at the tactical level and drive industry adoption through persistence and execution. To be successful as an Account Executive you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Account Executive should also be very competitive and a good listener. This role will be competitively remunerated through a mixture of annual salary plus commissions against quota target, experience of the same is preferred and proof of past performance will be requested. Your Day to Day
Follow-up on all sales inquiries submitted through our online system
Preparation of letters, reports, quotes, formal bids, and other miscellaneous information for business development.
Visits and communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers on Salesforce.
Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
Staying informed about competing products and services.
Upselling products and services.
Researching and qualifying new leads.
Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
Supporting sales team including administrative support.
Helping organise and execute leadership and product expert colleague visits (predominantly US colleagues requiring customer access)
Availability to travel around 25% of the time including customer visits and company premises.
Possible occasional travel internationally.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma.
Previous experience in outbound sales environment or a related commercial position preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong listening and sales skills.
Ability to achieve targets.
UK residency for a minimum of 3 years, preferably 5 years (as background checks will be required, specifically NPPV level 3 plus SC)
Location: Remote, UK with regular travel to London and Daventry. Supervisor: Regional Director, UKI
