Nutrafol is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Vice President, People Experience to lead all aspects of the employee journey, from onboarding to leadership development, while serving as a key partner to the business.

This role reports into the Chief People Officer, and collaborates closely with both Directors of People, and Talent.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnership
Grow and lead a high-impact HRBP function that partners deeply with across the business.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on team effectiveness, people dynamics, and change leadership.
Coach and guide leaders on complex employee matters and organizational effectiveness.
Org Design & Workforce Planning
Drive org design efforts to ensure optimal structure, clarity, and scalability across teams.
Partner with Finance and the business to lead strategic workforce planning tied to company objectives and future growth.
Anticipate capability needs and guide headcount strategy, spans/layers, and team composition.
Leadership Development & Coaching
Build and steward leadership development programs focused on growing high-impact, inclusive, and self-aware leaders.
Manage executive coaching opportunities for senior leaders and emerging talent.
Establish a consistent leadership philosophy that supports decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Talent Planning
Develop and execute company-wide talent planning practices, including succession planning and capability mapping.
Identify critical talent pools and partner with the business to ensure readiness for future growth and evolution.
Lead calibration and development planning to enhance bench strength at all levels.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Lead engagement strategy and survey cycles, surfacing insights and translating them into action.
Champion programs that deepen connection, recognition, and purpose across a remote-first workforce in close partnership with People Operations.
Partner with functional leaders to reinforce culture and drive both change and alignment.
Requirements:
15+ years experience in a Human Resource role; 8+ years people management experience
Experience working in a high growth company or startup; DTC/Wellness category experience is a plus
Demonstrated success in leadership roles with global responsibility
Working knowledge of HRIS Systems, including Paylocity
Strong understanding of employment law across all states throughout the US; experience with a remote workforce is a plus
Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to influence, inspire, collaborate and engage executive stakeholders
Skilled in managing multi-year roadmaps and budgets; able to drive delivery as well as see the big picture and support a business scaling at speed
Expertise in talent practices, organizational development, change management and inclusion
Customer-focused approach to process evolution
Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of business ownership
Excellent verbal and written communication, and storytelling skills
Ability to work across time zones and be flexible with business needs
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$230,000—$250,000 USD
