Visual Designer
As a Visual Designer, you’ll shape how the Spaceship brand shows up across channels, blending bold creative ideas with systems thinking. You’ll develop compelling visual identities and campaigns that elevate the entire ecosystem, from core products to sub-brands and tools. If you love turning complex ideas into visual clarity, and you’re curious about the intersection of design and AI, this is your launchpad.
Location: Hybrid or 100% remote from Portugal
Interview Process: 3 stages - 45 min HR conversation ➡️ Home Task ➡️ 1h Values/Technical interview

Reporting to: Brand Design Manager
Your team: You will mainly be part of a team of 18, (1 UX Manager, 1 UX Assistant Manager, 5 Design leads, 5 Communication Designers, 1 Interaction Designer, 1 Motion Designer, 1 Visual Designer and 1 Copywriter, and YOU!), plus small cross-functional teams, and a wider group of designers.

What will you do:
Your role will involve crafting and evolving modular visual systems, including illustration, iconography, and visual languages, that ensure brand consistency across sub-brands and products.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Designers, Comms Designers, Copywriters, and Developers to create visuals that are both meaningful and scalable. You’ll contribute to the development of identity concepts and bring creative storytelling to life across webpages, social, and motion design. A key part of your process will be exploring and integrating AI-generated assets or workflows to push creative boundaries. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with the design system team to strike the right balance between creative expression and structural consistency.
What You’ll Bring:
A portfolio that showcases real work across branding, visual systems, campaign design, and illustration.
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects and Figma are a plus.
Experience or strong interest in working with AI tools, image generation, or creative automation.
An eye for craft, systems thinking, and the ability to move from big ideas to pixel-perfect execution.
Confident communication of visual ideas, whether you’re presenting to peers, stakeholders, or leadership.
