The Role
We’re looking for a freelance content creator/producer based on the US East Coast to shape women’s health and wellness storytelling for 40+ audiences. This person will collaborate with creators, medical experts, and production teams to bring educational and lifestyle content to life.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Storytelling: Transform perimenopause and health-related insights into snackable, trustworthy content that builds awareness, supports education, and strengthens community trust.
Product Storytelling: Develop content that explains Flo’s features and product value in ways that feel approachable and relevant to a 40+ audience.
Community Management: Lead engagement strategies — replying to comments, participating in outbound conversations.
Production Leadership: Manage creators, spokespersons, and freelance editors/videographers, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery.
Collaboration: Work with Flo’s internal teams to align social content with brand and product priorities while staying audience-first.
Analytics & Iteration: Track performance, gather feedback, and optimize content based on learnings.
Profile We’re Looking For
US-based (East Coast)
Experience growing social accounts with content that resonates with 40+ audiences.
Proven ability to translate medical/product topics into accessible, engaging storytelling.
Comfortable managing other creators and production workflows (briefing editors, creators, videographers, running shoots) when needed.
Has an established network of freelance editors, videographers, and creative collaborators.
Experience in filming and producing content independently.
Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.
Connections with or knowledge of KOLs and trusted experts relevant to 40+ audiences.
Experience with perimenopause, menopause, or health & wellness content is a strong plus.
Contract Details
Freelance, 40 hours per week, 3 months required. Likely to be extended.
Remote, East Coast US preferred.
Compensation starting at $400 day rate based on experience and project scope.
