About Us

We are a high-growth health plan redefining access to affordable, flexible benefits for small and mid-sized businesses. Our solutions—ICHRA and level-funded health plans—are two of the fastest-growing segments in the insurance market. We are building for the future of health care with innovation at the core.

Position Summary

The Transformation & Strategy Leader will join a fast-moving team tasked with creating value across both internal operations and external market strategy—driving efficiency, managing costs, mitigating risk, improving member and provider experiences, and enabling scale through innovation. Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working as part of a team of internal consultants, this leader will be deployed on the company’s most pressing priorities.

Assignments may focus on operational improvements (e.g., systems optimization, process redesign, risk reduction) or on market-facing priorities (e.g., product design and positioning, distribution strategy, provider network strategy). Once a project is completed and embedded into operations, you will be redeployed to the next high-value opportunity—ensuring broad exposure to the most critical initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

●Conduct comprehensive evaluations of current-state processes, systems, performance, and market position. Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify pain points, inefficiencies, or gaps in competitiveness.

●Use data and metrics to assess both internal effectiveness and external opportunities to translate business objectives into practical, future-ready strategies that address root cause issues and unlock growth.

●Manage cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution. Build business cases to align on ROI, accountability and measurable impact. Ensure solutions—whether internally focused or market-facing—are embedded sustainably into operations.

●Identify opportunities to leverage automation, advanced analytics, and AI to improve efficiency and enhance stakeholder experience. Partner with IT, product, and data teams to design and implement scalable, tech-enabled solutions.

●Develop and execute communication and change management plans to ensure stakeholder alignment and adoption.

●Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards and internal risk controls.

●Contribute to ongoing team and enterprise initiatives that extend beyond assigned projects.  Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

●10+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, or operations leadership.

●Strong understanding of the health insurance industry, either internal operations (plan administration, compliance, distribution) or market-facing functions (product development, pricing, network strategy, member/provider experience).

●Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.

●Strong data analysis, process mapping, and operational design capabilities.

●Experience with enabling technologies—including automation, analytics, and AI.

●Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

●Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving environment.

●Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

What We Offer

●Opportunity to work at the forefront of innovation in health insurance.

●A dynamic role with opportunity for exposure to both internal operations and market-facing strategy.

●High visibility with executives and leadership across the organization.

●Competitive compensation, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.
