Our mission is to improve the way people purchase and access healthcare through innovative, consumer-centric health benefit solutions that people can actually use. Our industry-changing products and services are developed and delivered by a diverse group of unique people. We encourage you to be your authentic self - we like you that way.

A Little More About The role:

Gravie is looking for a Vice President and Head of Product for Comfort, Gravie’s level-funded solution.

As VP & Head of Product, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our product roadmap for our level-funded solution, defining how Gravie uses technology to drive innovation, improve outcomes and cost, and deliver a differentiated experience for members and customers. You’ll lead a growing team of Product Managers and Product Owners, partnering cross-functionally with engineering, business and operational leadership to bring our roadmap to life.

You will:

·       Own the level-funded technical product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap across Gravie’s member, broker, employer experiences and internal platforms and tooling.

·       Drive accountability to the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization, clarity, and cross-team coordination.

·       Ensure product teams translate the roadmap into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.

·       Manage successful delivery of the product roadmap.

·       Conduct build / buy / partner assessments and drive recommendations for new capability development.

·       In partnership with engineering, assess and evaluate capacity and capabilities needed to deliver solutions.

·       Secure and advocate for the resources necessary to execute, including headcount, budget, and cross-functional support.

·       Lead and scale the Comfort product management function, including org design, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.

·       Foster a high-performance culture grounded in strategic thinking, customer empathy, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

·       Guide product leaders in applying best practices for discovery, prioritization, and delivery.

·       Build and maintain trusted partnerships with teams across Gravie—including Engineering, Sales, Account Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing.

·       Champion a shared understanding of product goals, timelines, and tradeoffs, ensuring alignment from leadership to delivery teams.

·       Act as a key product voice in strategic planning, OKRs, and company-wide updates.

You bring:

·       10+ years of experience in product management, including 5+ years in product leadership roles.

·       Proven experience building and scaling product teams in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.

·       Deep understanding of healthcare; health insurance experience preferred.

·       Track record of owning end-to-end platform or ecosystem products with complex user types and workflows.

·       Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·       Experience working directly with Engineering and Design leaders to deliver outcomes.

·       Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering value to users and the business.

Extra credit:

·       Previous startup company experience

·       Experience with level-funded, stop loss, and small group plans

Gravie:

In order to transform health insurance and build a health plan everyone can love, we need talented people doing amazing work. In exchange, we offer a great overall employee experience with opportunities for career growth, meaningful mission-driven work, and an above average total rewards package.

The salary range for this position is $237,280 - $355,920 annually. Numerous factors including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. will be considered when determining compensation.  In addition to base salary, this position is also eligible to participate in Gravie’s annual bonus program.  Stock options may also be awarded as part of the compensation package.

Our unique benefits program is the gravy, i.e., the special sauce that sets our compensation package apart. In addition to standard health and wellness benefits, Gravie’s package includes alternative medicine coverage, flexible PTO, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, paid holidays, a 401k program, cell phone reimbursement, transportation perks, education reimbursement, and 1 week of paid paw-ternity leave.

We’re proud to be the only company offering both innovative level-funded health plans and a market-leading ICHRA solution, giving employers more choice and flexibility than ever before.

And guess what? Our customers love us. With member and employer satisfaction rates consistently trending above 80%, we know our health plans are working the way they should. Backed by some of the most sought-after investors in the country, we have the resources and long-term support to build something truly transformative—and we’re just getting started.

At Gravie, we do things differently. We’ll challenge you, and we’ll welcome you challenging us. Good ideas are everyone's job here. You’ll join a team that’s smart, mission-driven, and unafraid to push boundaries if it means making a bigger impact for the people we serve.
