Job Title: US Gov Sales Lead

Department: Sales Reports To: VP of Sales

Location: Remote US East Coast (ideally near DC)

Summary of Opportunity

Asset Reality, a global leader in tech-enabled asset seizure and management, is seeking a US Gov Sales Lead to spearhead our growth in the United States public sector. As the US Gov Sales Lead, you will leverage your experience in government sales and SaaS solutions to develop strategic relationships, secure contracts, and drive the adoption of our cutting-edge platform among federal, state, and local government agencies.

This role demands a results-driven professional who excels in consultative selling, understands the intricacies of government procurement processes, and is passionate about empowering law enforcement and public sector organizations with innovative solutions.

Our team includes some of the most experienced former US Government practitioners in asset seizure and management from federal agencies and your role will be to convert the introductions they make into sales. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy:

    • Work with the VP of Sales to develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting federal, state, and local government agencies, aligning with Asset Reality’s mission and growth objectives.

    • Identify market opportunities and collaborate with our US Government Relations team to acquire the necessary introductions.

  • Client Engagement:

    • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in law enforcement, public safety, and government finance departments from our US Government team's introductions, in addition to building net new relationships to meet the strategic sales plan.

    • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client workflows, challenges, and needs, translating them into actionable solutions.

    • Present the Asset Reality platform’s capabilities in addressing asset seizure, management and compliance challenges.

  • Sales Process Management:

    • Navigate complex government procurement processes, including capture plans, proposals and RFP responses, contract negotiations, and compliance requirements.

    • Coordinate with internal teams, including product management and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of contracts and onboarding.

  • Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with the VP of Sales and cross-functional teams to refine offerings and provide feedback on client needs.

    • Regularly update the CRM with client interactions, opportunities, and progress toward sales targets.

    • Provide insights and reporting on public sector sales performance to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in quota-bearing B2G (Business-to-Government) sales, preferably in SaaS or technology solutions.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within government accounts.

    • Deep knowledge of US federal, state, and local government procurement and funding processes.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional consultative, selling, and communication skills.

    • Ability to navigate government compliance, contracting, and policy nuances.

    • Strong CRM usage skills to manage pipeline, document and manage client engagement, and report on progress against targets.

    •  A working knowledge of digital assets and a general knowledge of digital asset custody offerings. 

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with asset forfeiture or law enforcement workflows.

    • Experience with selling solutions that intersect compliance, security, or public safety domains.

    • Experience selling both software and professional services.

    • Background in managing or contributing to government-funded technology adoption programs.
