Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a UI Programmer to join our office in Boston to work on Cyberpunk 2, the next mainline Cyberpunk 2077 game. In this role, you will help the team implement and maintain user interface features for the game.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking part in the design and implementation of user interfaces.

  • Maintenance and optimization of existing systems.

  • Creating new features for the user interface framework.

  • Implementing tools for UI artists and designers.

  • Tracking and fixing bugs in game user interface and user interface framework.

  • Completing tasks on time and creating high quality code.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry.

  • Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine.

  • Knowledge of user interface design patterns.

  • Understanding of algorithms and code architecture.

  • Debugging and optimization skills.

  • Understanding player needs in terms of user interface of modern video games.

  • Attention to detail and quality.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Common UI and MVVM in Unreal.

This job can be hybrid/in-office from Boston or fully remote.
