UI Developer (Embeddable Widgets, Vue.js)

We’re looking for an experienced UI Developer to collaborate with our UX, Design

and Technology teams to develop an embeddable SPA widget onto our customer’s

marketing and commerce dot com in a fast-paced environment and within a tight

timeline delivered by tightly managing feasible scope and focusing on MVP

delivery).

Responsibilities

• Frontend development of an embeddable, SPA experience that exists in the context of an enterprise marketing and e-commerce site.

• Collaborate with our Technology Lead, UX and Design teams in implementing the design and features into the widget.

• Frontend development of site experience UI features, CMS component library,and other UI layer considerations like animations, accessibility, interactions and front-end state management.

• Collaboration and guidance with the customer backend and CMS team on integrating and managing the widget.

Requirements

• Experience building “embeddable widgets” that are integrated in first, second- and third-party sites and platforms.

• Experience working with the Shadow DOM and custom elements.

• High level of expertise in developing accessible applications with a deep understanding of WCAG conformance levels

• 3 + years working directly with Vue 3

• 5+ years working with core web technologies (HTML, CSS and Javascript) in front-end web applications.

• 3+ years of working with CSS tools and preprocessor like SASS and Post CSS

• 1+ years of working with modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind

• 2 + years working with CMS front-end development and component-driven architectures.

• Experience working with agile methodologies like Scrum and agile tools such as Jira.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional web and software teams.
