The Role:
Sunbit is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on [Sr. Analyst], [Treasury & Capital Operations] to assist critical capital markets funding, deal management, and reporting functions. You’ll play a key role in building and growing the treasury/operations function for Sunbit’s capital markets funding platform, enhancing funding efficiency and supporting business leaders in making data informed decisions that drive strong financial results. This high-impact, high-visibility role is at the core of our capital team, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building best in class processes from the ground up.
This position reports to the Director of Capital Markets and will primarily work remotely. Travel to the New York office and Los Angeles corporate headquarters will be required occasionally.
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
Deal management: Lead ongoing funding activities and satisfy reporting requirements across warehouse facilities, asset backed securities, and loan sale transactions
Capital planning: Develop capital planning models and loan portfolio forecasts based on drivers such as warehouse facility funding and other capital markets activity
Cash flow forecasting: Develop and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity management and support strategic decision-making
Business partnership: Serve as a key cross functional partner to finance and accounting teams through corporate forecasting exercises, management material preparation, and periodic financing facility audits
Systems and tools: Drive implementation of additional automation and tech development in support of capital markets initiatives
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, math, or a related field
2-5+ years of experience in treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance, or a related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to relay complex findings to internal partners and external funding counterparties
Experience working in a high growth environment and a track record of building forecasting and capital planning infrastructure
Desire to own core funding and deal management processes critical to capital markets success
Exceptional technical skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence
Nice to have:
Prior experience in structured finance and / or fixed income
Experience working in Fintech or a loan originating platform
Comfort working with large data sets; familiarity with SQL preferred
Exposure to VBA / Excel macros
