About the job

Twilio is the world’s leading customer engagement platform, empowering developers to build modern communication applications and experiences. Our Automation PMO team is growing to support key strategic initiatives, leveraging data-backed insights to improve automation efforts. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with experience in AI/ML-driven automation to join Twilio’s Automation PMO team. In this role, you will help drive critical automation projects and support the development of AI-powered solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Technical Program Managers serve highly integrated and cross-functional product and engineering organizations, taking programs from concept to delivery by leveraging best practices to ensure predictable and timely execution. You will partner and collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, AI/ML Research, Operations, Support, and Legal to create cutting-edge AI solutions that enhance customer interactions and make Twilio products even more intuitive and effective.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will support the execution of automation programs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, AI/ML Research, Operations, and Support. You will help define project objectives, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives and make a meaningful impact.

If you are excited about leading complex AI/ML-driven initiatives, driving clarity in ambiguous environments, and working with a highly dedicated team to shape the future of automation at Twilio, this is the opportunity for you.

  • Drive the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions, such as chatbots and intelligent automation workflows, to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and execute program roadmaps and tracking milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the broader AI/automation strategy.

  • Monitor dependencies and risks, escalating issues as needed to keep leadership informed and aligned on key decisions.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine automation initiatives and drive business impact.
