Technical Consultant
We're looking for a Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team in EMEA. In this role, you’ll serve as a technical partner to our enterprise clients—designing, implementing, and supporting complex solutions that power Degreed's platform throughout the client lifecycle.
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you’ll work hands-on with product configurations, integrations, and technical best practices. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about solving real-world problems with technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building lasting relationships with clients. If you speak English fluently (bonus points for an additional European language!) and love working at the intersection of people, tech, and strategy—this one’s for you.
Key Skills
5+ years of experience in technical account management or technical implementation, with a focus on integrations in enterprise environments.
Solid hands-on experience with APIs, FTP, SAML, and other data transfer protocols.
Strong technical acumen with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably using tools like Precursive and Zendesk.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial settings.
Background in HCM, Talent Management, or HRIS consulting in SaaS or Professional Services environments.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with clients to implement Degreed’s technical solutions, products, and integrations.
Lead technical onboarding and training sessions with clients and third-party providers.
Consult with clients on system configuration, SSO authentication, user access, and data/content integrations.
Translate client requirements into scalable solutions and produce comprehensive design documentation.
Test, troubleshoot, and validate technical solutions throughout implementation.
Provide expert guidance on best practices and help clients overcome technical roadblocks.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to support client success and drive product adoption.
Manage multiple client projects concurrently, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Help shape and evolve our services by contributing feedback, ideas, and continuous improvement suggestions.
Compensation
We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
