Talent Acquisition Operations Lead

What You Will Do:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations Lead will develop a multi-faceted, and candidate-experience focused TA operations strategy with a focus on building and driving core operational excellence processes, recruitment coordination, analytics, selection, vendor management, events development, pre-boarding candidate experience and creating a high-performing team that consistently supports the delivery of a pipeline of top-quality talent. This role will focus on scaling the TA team by creating clear and repeatable processes, systems, and tools that deliver on our TA goals, work with internal partnerships with business leaders and HR partners and build influential relationships. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to operational excellence.

  • Lead the Talent Acquisition Operations team consisting of the Recruiting Coordinators and Background Check Specialists.

  • Provide enterprise-wide leadership, guidance and strategy development for the talent acquisition and talent acquisition operations functions at the organization.

  • Responsible for talent acquisition standardization, documentation, and new TA staff training.

  • Drive improvement through process methodologies and high impact enterprise TA initiatives.

  • Partner with HRIS to enhance Workday (ATS) changes due to business needs and legal mandates. 

  • Drive efficiencies and automation within processes and systems.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing talent acquisition and operations teams.

  • Ensure all talent acquisition practices comply with applicable local and national laws and regulations.

  • Manage relationships and invoicing with background vendors, recruitment agencies and Talent Acquisition vendors.

  • Research, recommend, and help implement innovative programs, solutions, and processes to enhance sourcing, screening, scheduling, hiring, and onboarding capabilities.

  • Event management and promotional items inventory.

  • Research and recommend innovative new programs, solutions, and processes to enhance our ability to source, screen, schedule, hire, and onboard talent.

What You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of overall experience

  • 8+ years of recruiting and/or recruiting operations experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams

  • 3+ years of Workday experience

  • Knowledge of recruiting systems and platforms, such as Workday, Rooster, TalentNeuron, SeekOut, iMocha, HireRight, and Verifacts, with an ability to drive system adoption and optimization

  • Recruiting vendor management experience

  • Experience implementing systems and processes to support smooth and efficient day-to-day recruiting operations, and making data driven strategic recommendations

  • Proven analytical skills in developing and refining recruitment-related reporting and analytics

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience configuring Workday is highly desirable, including ATS implementation experience

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions and establish clear objectives

  • Project/program management experience

  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and deliver effective solutions

The annual salary range for this position is $135,000.00-$225,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
