About the role
As a Supplier Governance Advisor at Reserv, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining our third-party risk management (TPRM) program. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and monitor vendor risk, maintain a defensible governance framework, and ensure audit readiness across our global vendor base. You will collaborate closely with vendor managers, compliance, legal, and claims teams to operationalize governance controls, build and maintain a central risk register, and deliver data-driven reporting on vendor risk and performance.

And yes, you have a sense of humor. Risk work is serious, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
What we need
We need you to take ownership of vendor risk and governance lifecycle activities, including:
Conduct initial and periodic vendor risk assessments using AuditBoard and other tools.
Document inherent and residual risk ratings; maintain a centralized vendor risk register.
Develop, enforce, and monitor adherence to governance SOPs.
Track renewals, offboarding, and audit deliverables to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor databases and supporting documentation.
Support executive and regulatory reporting with data-driven insights.
Partner with compliance and legal to ensure adherence to NIST CSF 2.0, DORA, GDPR, OCC/FDIC, and other frameworks.
Undertake ad hoc audits, escalations, or roadmap projects as assigned.
Manage and report vendor performance through reports and scorecards
Document vendor issues or opportunities and action plans towards remediation
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required (risk, compliance, or related field).
3–5+ years of experience in vendor management, risk, governance, audit, or compliance.
Familiarity with risk frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, OCC/FDIC) strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
Experience with risk tools or GRC platforms (e.g., AuditBoard) preferred.
Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or highly regulated environments is a plus.
