Staff Community Product Marketing Manager
The Community Product Marketing team is looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager to support community products that empower redditors to build thriving experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for setting a go-to-market vision, influencing product strategy and taking these products to market and to the Reddit community. As the product marketing owner, you will play a crucial role in making Reddit the best in the world at conversations for consumers, contributors, moderators and brands.
The Community PMM team is an emerging team making a significant impact across product areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to think big-picture, launch 0-to-1 products, and collaborate cross-functionally and across levels, all while helping shape the team’s direction and driving meaningful results at Reddit.
Responsibilities:
Lead inbound and outbound Product Marketing for consumer and community products
Be a trusted partner with Product, Engineering, User Research, Data Science, Community, Business Development, and Community teams
Define, shape and sell go-to-market strategy, including positioning, narratives, goals, and activation
Bring products to life for diverse audiences, from driving insights and segmentation to informing future directions, all the way to launching new features or experiences
Create and drive marketing plans including beta testing, multichannel campaigns, goal tracking and data analysis alongside cross-functional teams
Leverage research, data, and market insights to identify opportunities
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or strategy/consultant roles
Experience launching products for diverse user segments
Experience managing different product workstreams and flexing across different product areas
Strong analytical, research and data analysis skills to prioritize personas and devise relevant marketing approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage marketing, creative and technical cross-functional teams through complex launches
Excellent storytelling skills translating product technicalities to cohesive consumer narratives
Big-picture thinker while ensuring quality in the finer details of execution
Capacity to deliver in fast-paced environments and has a high tolerance for change
Deep understanding of Reddit’s ecosystem, including its community structure, conversation-focus, and moderator roles (avid redditor a strong plus)
Experience working with 0-1 products nice to have
Experience working community products, social platforms or marketplace products preferred
