Sr. Specialty Lines Distribution Manager (Sr. Access Distribution Manager)
Base Salary: $100,000–$145,000* + Variable Compensation + Equity *Actual base salary is dependent on experience and geographic location.
The Senior Access Distribution Manager is responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Embroker’s proprietary specialty lines insurance products through wholesale and retail intermediary channels. This is a sales-driven role focused on cultivating high-performing broker relationships, expanding high-quality submissions, and accelerating quote-to-bind conversion.
Partner Relationship Management & Growth
Develop and grow relationships with broker partners to increase quality submissions and drive revenue through policy binds.
Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, providing timely, transparent, and strategic communication.
Educate broker partners on Embroker’s proprietary products, appetite, and underwriting capabilities
Sales Execution & Enablement
Drive quote-to-bind velocity by aligning broker opportunities with underwriting appetite.
Identify and remove bottlenecks in the sales process to optimize conversion rates.
Deliver tailored sales enablement materials, talking points, and training to broker partners.
Onboarding & Activation
Lead onboarding of new broker partners, ensuring a seamless and engaging start-to-finish experience.
Deploy structured activation workflows, engagement cadences, and clear success metrics.
Track and report on partner performance metrics including submissions, quotes, and policy binds.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with underwriting to triage submissions, refine risk appetite understanding, and accelerate quoting.
Partner with product and marketing teams to shape messaging, co-marketing initiatives, and broker resources.
Participate in strategic planning and feedback loops to inform product enhancements and distribution strategy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in specialty insurance (distribution, broking, or underwriting), with strong familiarity in D&O, EPLI, E&O, Cyber, and related products.
Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven ability to drive sales outcomes through external partner relationships.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working across underwriting, product, and sales teams in a high-growth environment.
Self-starter with a builder’s mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
Comfortable balancing execution with strategic thinking and planning
Ability to work cross culturally on a global team
Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to perform at a high-level in a remote work environment
