About the Role
The Sr. People Operations Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to company’s employees and managers. This person acts as a key liaison between People Operations and Delivery teams. This role is responsible for driving alignment between business objectives and people strategies. The POBP combines strategic partnership with delivery teams aimed at cultivating a high-performing and engaged organization.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the point person for Departments, advising managers on HR best practices, employee and performance management, employee engagement and change initiatives.
Partner with business leaders to align our people strategies with business objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, conflict resolution performance management, and employee development.
Experience to handle complex employee relations situations and investigations, driving fair and consistent outcomes.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues and provide sound guidance and recommendations.
Build trusted partnerships across People Ops, IT, Finance, Talent Acquisition and other cross-functional areas to enable managers and teams.
Develop and implement people strategies that support business goals, foster employee engagement, and drive retention.
Oversee all phases of the performance management cycle, from goal setting, feedback, career pathing, and performance.
Help develop, coach and enhance the effectiveness of our people managers.
Lead manager training efforts and personally guide managers through complex people matters.
Champion People Ops projects and new program rollouts.
Act as a bridge between employees, managers, and leadership, ensuring clarity of communication around programs and changes.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Motivated by collaboration, integrity, listening, and curiosity.
Comfortable with rapid change and ambiguity.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 6 years in a business partner or equivalent role.
Deep experience in handling complex employee relations & investigations, talent management, and change management.
Strong grasp and experienced application of employment law, HR systems, and compliance with experience ensuring adherence to legal standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into HR strategies and initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues and provide sound guidance and recommendations.
Develop and implement people strategies that support business goals, foster employee engagement, and drive retention.
Demonstrated success in designing and delivering manager training and development programs.
