Sr. Manager - Pricing & Packaging
Position Summary
As a Sr. Manager, Pricing & Packaging at ExtraHop, you will develop and execute pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer delight, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness. Reporting to the Director of Product Strategy & Operations, you’ll partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations to shape pricing models, define packaging approaches, and implement scalable processes. You will play a key role in evaluating profitability, driving growth in the business, and ensuring pricing integrity across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement pricing strategies that enhance growth and profitability, leveraging strategic frameworks and quantitative analyses
Establish pricing for new products based on projected demand and profitability
Create models to assess the economic tradeoffs between various alternatives for key decisions
Conduct primary and secondary research to ensure consistency with industry best practices and customer delight
Track market trends and keeping up to date on prices in the ecosystem
Translate strategy and analysis into documented operational requirements for implementation of approved pricing actions
Understand multi-tier sales model and its impact on price setting
Drive and manage implementation of pricing and packaging – work with various stakeholders across the company
Negotiate and influence internally to drive adoption of new pricing structures and strategies
Develop and maintain internal controls over pricing activities to ensure compliance
Maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall SKU health, data integrity and other key objectives and performance indicators
Work closely with other teams to track movements in costs
Required Qualifications
MBA / Masters Degree
5+ years of experience in pricing & packaging for highly technical products
2 years of management consulting experience preferred
Cybersecurity/networking industry experience preferred
Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and a bias for action
Ability to structure ambiguous problems with a hypothesis-driven approach
Data-driven mindset and broad analytical skillset
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
Strong and versatile communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to both executive and operational audiences
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
The salary for this role is 150,000 - 180,000 + bonus + benefits
