Job Title: Sr Generalist Paralegal/Legal Project Manager Reports to: SVP, General Counsel

A quick snapshot… As a Sr Generalist Paralegal on Conga’s in-house legal team, you’ll support a wide range of legal functions from corporate governance and entity management, to M&A and cross-functional projects. You’ll be a key player with the opportunity to make an impact and work across the business in a dynamic environment.

Why it’s a big deal…   You’ll support the Office of the General Counsel, help maintain corporate compliance across entities, and contribute to board and governance processes. Your work will directly contribute to strategic initiatives like M&A and process improvements, helping us scale responsibly and effectively. You’ll also be responsible for assisting with any litigation matters. You’ll collaborate closely with legal operations to bring a tech-forward, process-driven mindset to everything you do.

Are you the person we’re looking for?

In-house legal experience. You’ve worked as a paralegal within an in-house legal department—ideally in the tech industry—and understand the pace, complexity, and cross-functional nature of supporting a business from the inside. You have hands-on experience managing corporate records, maintaining entity compliance for US and international entities, and supporting governance processes including drafting necessary consents, minutes, and resolutions for board and committee meetings.

Project management and organization. You’re highly organized and thrive on managing multiple priorities. You rarely make mistakes because you have good processes in place to ensure that every detail is correct. You know how to keep legal projects on track, coordinate with stakeholders, and follow through on details without losing sight of the big picture. In those rare occasions when things don’t go to plan (let’s face it, it happens to the best of us from time to time), you own them, correct them, learn from them, and then quickly adjust and communicate processes to ensure the same mistake doesn’t happen twice.

Collaborative and business-oriented. You don’t just engage in collaborative discussions; you enjoy them and initiate them regularly. You are clear and concise when you speak and write -- and even creative in terms of ensuring your messages are received and understood. You leave no room for assumptions or misunderstanding. You understand how legal supports the business and are comfortable partnering with legal operations, finance, and other departments to get things done.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Related experience. You’ve supported legal teams through mergers and acquisitions, helping with diligence, document management, and integration activities. You’re comfortable drafting and organizing board resolutions, meeting minutes, and other governance documents with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. You’re a paralegal by trade but consider yourself a generalist who has a growth mindset and is excited about taking on large projects with cross-functional reach.

Initiative and improvement mindset. You’re curious about legal technology and always looking for ways to improve workflows. You’ve worked with tools like legal billing software, entity management platforms, and contract lifecycle systems and enjoy streamlining processes (bonus points if you’re familiar with Conga’s software). You don’t wait around for things to happen or for your manager to tell you what to do. You’re not only proactive about completing your own work, but when you sense the need to introduce a project that will benefit the team or the organization -- even if it’s outside your scope of work -- you put a proposal together, talk to the team about it, and own it.

Education and certifications. You’ve successfully completed a bachelor’s degree. Maybe you’ve achieved a Paralegal Certificate, Certified Paralegal Certification (CP), Professional Paralegal Certification (PP), or other certifications.
