Sr Full-Stack Software Engineer (Imaging)
This position can work hybrid in our Ames, IA office or remote within the United States. Job Summary This role is a key individual contributor position on the Imaging team, responsible for driving the successful delivery of business goals through innovative software solutions. We are seeking an experienced front-end software developer with expertise in web application design and development. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks, while also being comfortable in C# and .NET on the backend to deliver end to end solutions. Design, build, and optimize user-facing features for web-based imaging applications
Create clean, responsive, and intuitive UI/UX experiences
Execute the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
Integrate front-end components with robust back-end systems
Ensure compliance with coding standards, accessibility requirements, and industry best practices
Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on front-end technologies and effective coding practices
Deliver clear documentation of features, functionality, and user-facing behavior
Present technical concepts to product and leadership teams with clarity and confidence
Actively participate in agile ceremonies and cross-functional team meetings to support seamless product delivery
Conduct peer reviews to maintain code quality and foster front-end best practices
Travel/Physical Demands
Travel typically less than 10%
Office environment with no special physical demands required

Qualifications What You Will Have
4 - 5 years of software engineering experience with increasing complexity and responsibility
Excellent skills with experience building production web applications
Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product and design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
Advanced analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to build partnerships, cultivate lasting internal relationships, and resolve complex issues collaboratively
Nice to Haves
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
Specialized experience in device driver API integrations, including low-level programming and hardware/software integration
The posted range for this position is$95,000 - $130,000which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
