What are you going to do?
Our client is a leading ed-tech company that helps districts and schools address staffing shortages and expand their course offerings through hybrid courses. Their mission is to radically expand access to education for middle and high school students. By offering hybrid courses, training, guidance, and strategic support, they empower districts to create sustainable, high-quality education models for the future.
Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to help build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouse infrastructure.
The Data Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining all aspects of our data pipeline and warehousing infrastructure. They will collaborate with other members of the engineering and operations teams to build and transform data that our analysts can use to create reports for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer who is passionate about reimagining the secondary school experience and has experience in education technology. The Data Engineer will report to the Chief Technical Officer and join a team of Full Stack and DevOps Engineers, a Data Scientist, and a Data Analyst.
Maintenance/troubleshooting of legacy data pipelines
Legacy Data Pipeline Rearchitecting/Refactoring
Building pipelines to bring data from external tools such as Salesforce, Quickbase, Canvas, MasteryConnect, and Clever into our data warehouse
Why do we need your skills?
4+ years of data engineering experience
Deep understanding of AWS data analysis and warehousing technologies such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and RedShift
Track record of shipping high-quality software that users love
Strong relationship and communication skills in English
