Reporting to the Manager, CX Project Management Office, the Sr CX Project manager will execute and oversee a portfolio of projects that align with our strategic vision and goals. In this role, you will: develop project plans, collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects, and ensure stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Your contributions will significantly influence the success of our department's initiatives, driving the strategic vision of our broader organization. Through your project management skills, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that contribute significantly to our customer experience operations.
This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
Please note, the working hours for this opportunity are Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or related project management role.
Proven experience in managing resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, or equivalent.
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to obtain executive sponsorship for projects and to engage with stakeholders at all levels to effectively communicate project value, status, and impacts.
Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and implementing best practices in project management.
Strong organizational and project leadership skills, with a proven capability of driving project success and team productivity.
Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
What you can expect:
Lead and manage a portfolio of highly complex projects and programs within the Customer Experience Operations department, ensuring alignment with 1Password's strategic goals.
Works with Manager, PMO to develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
Works with CX leadership to obtain executive sponsorship for key projects (when required), effectively liaising between the project team and 1Password's leadership to secure high-level support and alignment.
Implement effective project management practices, promoting efficiency and effectiveness within the team and across project execution.
Proactively identify and address potential project risks (e.g. project logistical issues, budget, and scope) and devise appropriate mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
Contributes data and insights to help inform the PMO strategy and objectives.
Delivery
Foster cross-functional collaboration with other teams within Customer Experience and other departments in the business to ensure seamless project execution and successful outcomes.
Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and other issues within and between project teams and recommend/provide solutions.
Ensure that executive sponsors, project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members receive consistent and timely communication regarding project status, issues and risks.
Maintains project documents including plans, reports, deliverables, and issues and risk taking logs.
Play an instrumental role in implementing change management strategies, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and facilitating smooth transitions throughout the project lifecycle.
Delivers on time and on budget projects at a high quality, as defined by Manager, PMO.
Management
Organizes and leads activities (e.g. working sessions or team meetings) with the project team at all phases of the project to ensure progress is on schedule and within budget.
United States-based roles only: The Annual salary for this role is between $92,000USD and $124,000USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. All employees are owners of 1Password and receive an equity grant as part of their total package.
