That’s what great pre-sales does, and that’s what we’re looking for in our next Solutions Engineer.

This role isn’t just about running through a demo script or ticking off a checklist. It’s about engaging, challenging, and inspiring. It’s about knowing your audience—when to dive deep into technical detail and when to elevate the conversation to business value. It’s about being adaptable, resourceful, and always looking for ways to enhance the story we tell and the way we tell it.

HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY

  • Consult and Collaborate: Work with prospects to deeply understand their business challenges across industries and data domains. Tailor consultative approaches to guide them towards impactful outcomes.

  • Deliver Engaging Demonstrations: Bring our expertise to life through impactful, value-driven demonstrations and presentations—showcasing how our capabilities align with their needs.

  • Elevate the Narrative: Shift conversations beyond technical details to meaningful discussions about differentiation, business outcomes, and industry trends. 

  • Push the Boundaries: Use our API framework and SDK to explore creative ways to extend our capabilities, tailoring innovative solutions to meet the unique needs of prospects and their use cases.

  • Drive Competitive Edge: Use your expertise to create messaging and collateral that highlight our strengths and establish us as a trusted partner in PIM, MDM, PXM, and Syndication.

  • Own Your Demo Environments: Take responsibility for configuring, maintaining, and optimising your demo accounts and software environments. Ensure they are always ready to deliver seamless, impactful, and tailored demonstrations.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales, product management, and marketing to refine our offerings, address customer feedback, and stay ahead of market demands.

  • Support and Inspire the Team: Help your fellow team members shine by sharing ideas, providing support, and showcasing the team’s achievements. Drive efforts that move the needle and elevate the art of pre-sales within the team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

We need someone who understands pre-sales at its core—who sees it as more than just answering questions, but rather as crafting experiences that resonate.

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering Experience in SaaS environment 

  • Technical Expertise: A strong grasp of APIs, cloud-native technologies, and the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex capabilities. You thrive on exploring possibilities within our API framework and SDK to creatively extend our offerings and meet unique prospect use cases.

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the areas of PIM, MDM, PXM, Syndication, and Ecommerce—ideally in multi-domain contexts.

  • Consultative Mindset: Ability to position capabilities as enablers of business value, rather than just technical tools.

  • Communication Skills: A polished and persuasive communicator with a knack for simplifying complex ideas and building trust with diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-Motivation: A proactive, solution-oriented attitude that drives you to deliver results independently and collaboratively.

  • Presentation Mastery: Experience delivering engaging product demonstrations to both technical and business audiences.

  • Strategic Insight: Familiarity with competitive landscapes and industry trends to refine messaging and support differentiation efforts.

  • Creative Problem-Solving: A desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible, using innovation and technical acumen to create tailored solutions that address specific business challenges.
