We’re looking for a German-speaking Solutions Engineer to join our growing team at n8n, supporting customers across the DACH region. You’ll play a key role in driving technical sales, leading proof-of-concepts, and becoming a trusted advisor to our fast-growing German-speaking customer base.

This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you’ll help some of the most forward-thinking companies in DACH design and implement scalable automation workflows with n8n.

1. Lead Technical Sales Engagements

  • πŸš€ Own technical discovery calls and demos with enterprise customers

  • πŸ” Understand business and technical requirements, translating them into n8n-powered solutions

  • 🀝 Partner with Account Executives to align technical insights with commercial goals

2. Run Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)

  • πŸ§ͺ Design and manage impactful POCs to demonstrate value quickly

  • πŸ“Š Guide customers through the trial process, helping them get set up and solve real use cases

  • πŸ“£ Capture feedback to improve customer onboarding and internal product discussions

3. Build Long-Term Customer Relationships

  • 🀝 Serve as a trusted advisor to IT, DevOps, and SecOps stakeholders

  • 🌱 Help customers grow their use of n8n through education, enablement, and best practice

  • πŸ’¬ Be a go-to technical contact for ongoing product conversations and use-case expansion

4. Internal Collaboration & Feedback Loop

  • 🧠 Share insights from the field with Product, Engineering, and Marketing

  • πŸ“ˆ Help evolve our technical sales playbook for the DACH market

  • πŸ“’ Contribute to the creation of localized German-language sales materials where needed

βœ… What You’ll Need

Must-Haves

  • πŸ’Ό 6+ years experience in technical pre-sales or Solutions Engineering, ideally in B2B SaaS

  • πŸ—£ Fluent German and English – you can lead customer calls, demos, and emails in both languages

  • πŸ”§ Strong understanding of APIs, OAuth, webhooks, Docker/Kubernetes, and JavaScript

  • 🀝 Proven ability to build relationships with IT and security stakeholders

  • 🌐 Great commercial instinct – you understand sales motion and how to tailor solutions

  • πŸš€ Startup mentality – comfortable with ambiguity, fast pace, and cross-functional collaboration

  • πŸ›« Willingness to travel occasionally (e.g. for onboarding or team events)
