IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our engineering team. We are looking for a backend/API-focused developer who understands balanced approaches to development and possesses a willingness to assist with DevOps and front-end tasks as needed. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining server-side applications and APIs that enable our customers to monitor and keep their mobile applications secure. If you're passionate about using modern TypeScript to deliver scalable solutions that directly contribute to our product's success and solve customer challenges, we want to hear from you!

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years experience working in SaaS based software development

• Familiar with both object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms

• Skilled in documenting technical strategies and facilitating discussions around their advantages and disadvantages

• Experience in Typescript/Javascript

• Experience in PostgreSQL

• Strong understanding of designing & developing RESTful APIs

AND, BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THIS:

• Experience in ReactJS

• Understanding in designing and developing with GraphQL

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab CI

• Experience with SAML/OpenID/OAuth2 using Auth0

• Familiarity with the entire containerization lifecycle, utilizing Docker and Docker Compose for efficient development and deployment workflows

• Previous experience at an early-stage or growth-stage software startup

INFORMATION SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow guidance in the Master IS Policy and applicable Network Admin standards and procedures

• Perform responsibilities assigned to the Network Administrator in the Master IS Policy

• Implement network security controls as required by applicable policies, including role-based access, default deny firewall rules, logging, patch management, and system security testing

• Implement secure coding standards and software security controls as required by policies

• Report any security incidents and support incident response procedures pursuant to the Incident Response policy

• Support information risk assessments, internal and external information security audit functions

• Maintain asset tracking for all subject information systems and assets

• Complete security training and maintain current certifications as required
