Overview
Join Netflix's Live UI team and help build the next generation of innovative product experiences at an unprecedented global scale. Our team is responsible for the UI engineering and architecture that powers new Live viewing experiences across Netflix. We collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to bring these experiences to life for millions of members worldwide.
You will have the opportunity to work on a modern Android tech stack, including Jetpack Compose, Circuit, Dagger/Hilt, and GraphQL, while building your skills and learning from senior engineers. Our team will support your growth in project management, estimation, and communication to help you deliver great results in our fast-paced, collaborative environment, which is remote-friendly and includes members across the US.

What You’ll Do
Build and ship innovative Live product features for the Netflix Android app.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product and design to define and deliver on the product roadmap.
Develop your project management and estimation skills to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Communicate proactively and effectively with teammates and stakeholders.
Write high-quality, testable, and performant code.
Leverage modern Android frameworks and tools.
Contribute to engineering initiatives to enhance developer experience and productivity.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of professional experience with Android development
Familiarity with modern Android development tools and frameworks.
Strong coding skills in Kotlin or Java.
Ability to write clear, modular, and testable code.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Growth mindset, desire to learn, and take on new challenges.
Alignment with Netflix's culture and values.
Nice to Have
Experience with Jetpack Compose, Dagger/Hilt, or GraphQL.
Experience with UI architecture patterns like MVI or MVVM.
Knowledge of or experience with Live streaming or Ad technologies.

We offer a competitive compensation package, carefully considering various factors to determine your personal top-of-market salary. The overall market range for roles in this area at Netflix is typically between $100,000 and $720,000. It is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which aligns with our unique compensation philosophy.
