Software Engineer II
Summary: Join our team as a Software Engineer II, where you will play a crucial role in developing a platform that connects security experts with companies to enhance global cybersecurity. Collaborate with product teams, external stakeholders, and designers to ensure high accessibility and standards compliance. Your work will also focus on improving the platform for our internal teams, such as the Application Security Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Build and enhance a global platform connecting hackers and companies for better security.
Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to provide engineering insights.
Work with designers on our design system to ensure accessibility and compliance.
Enhance the platform usability for internal teams, including Application Security Engineers.
Required skills:
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, preferably Kotlin/Spring, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails
Basic understanding of data architecture.
Knowledge or interest in infrastructure and cloud services, preferably AWS.
Experience with data and event buses, streaming data, and SQL is a plus.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and secure development best practices.
A good grasp of networking concepts, DNS, SSL, load balancing, and traffic management.
Understanding of performance issues in web applications and usability/accessibility considerations.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including databases, pipelines, monitoring, and deployment.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
Environment - remote, work-from-home 100% of the time.

The national estimate for the current base range for the position of Software Engineer II is: $98,800 -$123,600.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
