ABOUT THE ROLE
Teikametrics is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build and maintain integration services for e-commerce platforms, processing and analyzing seller data at scale. The role requires expertise in API integration and data processing, with a tech stack that includes Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS services. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a cloud-based environment, driving actionable insights for e-commerce business optimization.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Build and maintain scalable data processing services using Java/Spring Boot
Integrate with external e-commerce platforms' APIs
Design and implement data models and database schemas
Work with message queues and event-driven architectures using Kafka
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Monitor and troubleshoot production issues
WHO YOU ARE
3-5 years of professional software development experience
Experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot
Experience with external API integration and data processing
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with message brokers, Kafka is a plus
AWS experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and collaboration skills
