Our highly collaborative engineering team builds scalable solutions that integrate with major EHR systems, process real-time review data from Google and other platforms, and leverage AI to optimize patient engagement workflows. We are currently only considering candidates who are based in Georgia and can occasionally travel to our Atlanta headquarters for team events and meetings.

You Will

  • Design and implement scalable APIs that handle millions of patient interactions, directory updates, and review processing across healthcare systems

  • Build robust integrations with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena) and major platforms (Google Business Profile, Apple, Facebook) to sync provider data and automate patient outreach

  • Architect backend services for our AI-powered features, including sentiment analysis, automated review responses, and clinical taxonomy mapping

  • Develop real-time data processing pipelines that ingest patient survey data and publish across multiple reputation products.

  • Optimize database performance and queries for healthcare analytics, handling complex reporting across providers, locations, and patient feedback categories

  • Implement security and compliance measures for HIPAA-compliant systems, ensuring patient data protection across all integrations

  • Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver features that directly impact patient acquisition and healthcare organization success

  • Monitor and maintain production systems processing 24/7 healthcare data flows, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical patient engagement workflows

  • Manage DevOps processes and Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring smooth releases and infrastructure automation across staging and production environments

  • Collaborate effectively with offshore EMIDS development team, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and ensuring consistent development practices across distributed team members

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

  • Minimum of 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with high-scale consumer or healthcare applications

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technology stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, Microsoft SQL Server)

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

  • Proficiency in Git, unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit), debugging, and performance monitoring

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs, with understanding of rate limiting, authentication, and error handling

  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (NSubstitute, Playwright, Jest)

  • Experience with real-time systems and data processing at scale

Bonus Points

  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience

  • Third-party API integration experience (Google APIs, social media platforms, directory services)

  • EHR integration experience (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Allscripts)

  • Frontend development skills (React, JavaScript)

  • Experience with AI/ML systems, natural language processing, or sentiment analysis

  • Background in reputation management, patient engagement, or healthcare marketing technology

Pay Transparency

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.  In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
