About the role: Hiring a self-driven Software Engineer in Test II with strong expertise in manual testing and automation. Focus on product understanding, customer workflows, and cross-platform testing. Role spans manual and automation testing work.
Responsible for executing both manual and automated testing efforts, contributing to high-quality releases within the team.
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Identify edge cases, usability gaps, and risk scenarios early in the development cycle.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the day to day needs
Help to onboard and train new QA members joining in future
QA should able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Android, iOS and backend systems
Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team
QA also work with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system
Building and managing automated build/test/deployment environments
Minimum qualifications:
Between 3-6 years of practical experience in Software Testing or similar role in FinTech Domain
Experience of working with Web, Mobile and API Testing in both manual & automation testing
Mobile automation experience is preferred for this role
Highly Experienced with testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, CI/CD pipelines etc.
Strong product mindset, edge-case thinking, and ability to spot usability issues early.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams.
Experience of working with programming language - Java
Experience of working in Agile process management methodology
