With a mission to improve health and improve lives, Labcorp delivers world-class diagnostic solutions, brings innovative medicines to patients faster, and uses technology to improve patient care.

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer where you will be working alongside the design and product teams to create delightful customer experiences that drive measurable business impact. This position will be designing brand-defining experiences based on user needs for a range of digital products and services while collaborating with project teams and engineering to be the voice of the user and defining the next generation of our digital presence.

Core areas of expertise: A Senior UX Designer can translate their deep understanding of user needs into intuitive, user-friendly designs through research, testing, and iteration. Their core expertise includes proficiency in user-centered design principles, information architecture, prototyping and wireframing, strong interaction design skills, and knowledge of user research methodologies. The role requires excellent communication and the capacity to mentor peers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Lead efforts to design brand-defining digital products, marketing emails, in-house communications, and other digital collateral consistent with our brand image and, most critically, informed by business results and customer insights.

  • Proactively push our design practice and approach forward by nurturing new ideas from concept to execution, along with your creative peers

  • Foster a healthy culture of design critique and learning by having an active voice in cross-functional design reviews.

  • Collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and subject matter experts on strategic initiatives and key projects

  • Leverage existing data and customer trends to inform UX recommendations

  • Analyze customer insight research and usability activities to understand existing challenges, inform strategic and creative direction—including user research, user testing, and customer journey mapping—to make strategic recommendations that will advance our experiences

  • Create wireframes and prototypes, lead user testing exercises, and document UX design recommendations

  • Contribute to presentations, delivering strategic UX recommendations with confidence and conviction

  • Work closely with the technical team to implement UI solutions and ensure the technology executes on the vision and requirements

  • Guide and mentor colleagues across teams, fostering professional growth by sharing expertise and encouraging peer learning

Experience

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience leading and delivering comprehensive and elegant end-to-end solutions within a complex business environment, similar to, if not within, the healthcare or insurance services industry

  • Hands-on experience guiding team members and stakeholders through your vision and UX strategies

  • Ability to clearly articulate goals and UX decisions, and know how to use data and research to back up your work.

  • Ability to interpret, translate, and extend existing brand guidelines in the context of developing creative assets.

  • Experience working in an ad agency or corporate environment, and highly knowledgeable about new and emerging digital technologies and trends

  • Demonstrated ability to produce UX Design work and present design solutions based on business strategy and user needs

  • Experience leading user testing and prototyping

  • Working knowledge of UX tools such as Figma, AI and UserZoom

  • Strengths: User-centered design, UI design, and visual design

  • Front-end development skills are a plus

  • Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks

Application Window: 5/31/2025

Pay Range: $97,500 - $154,000
