About the Role:
As the Sr. Trust Policy Specialist, your work will help keep the Taskrabbit community safe through building and implementing internal policies that can support our community at scale and create accessible policy enforcement guides. You will work across the business and with external stakeholders to continuously evaluate and improve our policies and to handle new issues as they arise. This is a critical global function tasked with ensuring the safety of all our clients and Taskers on the Taskrabbit platform. The scope of the role is vast, ranging from policy and standards evolution globally to identifying and executing on key opportunities to drastically reduce the most common issues customers (Clients and Taskers) experience on TaskRabbit and to improve the experience when customers do encounter an issue. Prioritization of these opportunities will be made with a balance of improving the customer experience while helping Taskrabbit meet its aggressive financial goals.

The candidate must also be personable, collaborative, and flexible, with the drive to support complex projects across multiple stakeholder groups and have proven experience in policy writing and framework development.
You will report into the Manager, Risk & Trust Policy, on our Risk, Trust & Payments team in our Operations organization.
What You'll Work On:
Set internal and external policies and procedures for Clients and Taskers
Research and draft data-driven policies, with a focus on Safety, as part of a global team.
Develop, organize, and maintain a searchable repository of all policies
Implement a scalable, transparent standards program and member behavior policy and guidelines for all TaskRabbit customers
Foster and maintain relationships with internal business vertical leaders, including executive stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across departments such as Commercial Operations, Legal, Product, Communications, and Business Development.
Guide policy operationalization efforts with cross-functional teams like Training & Development and Risk Operations
Understand the Tasker and Client perspectives to enhance the overall TaskRabbit experience
Network with Managed Marketplaces and Gig Economy contacts through webinars, conferences, and information sharing
Provide recommendations for continual innovation and support company expansion goals
Your Areas of Expertise:
Bachelor’s degree in any field,
Minimum 4+ experience in an Operations, Policy, Legal, or Trust and Safety
Ability to work closely with global, cross-functional partner teams
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Proven experience in policy writing and framework development
Capacity for critical thinking, research, and analysis
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proactive, clear, and concise communication style
Demonstrates thoughtful business judgment and strategic thinking
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Adapts well to fast-paced environments
Strong attention to detail
Skilled at decision making and navigating ambiguity
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Familiarity with tools like G-suite, JIRA, Confluence, and Looker
Analytical mindset and creative problem-solving abilities
Passion for building trust and delivering exceptional customer experiences
Enjoys collaborating with a tight-knit team
Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks.
The base pay range for this position is $80,00 - $111,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
