Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the RoleThis role translates the signed-off Principles & Polices into Financial Guidance & Advice specifications and acceptance criteria that enable the Product teams to build and iterate automated guidance & advice services, and produces high quality documentation for record keeping and supporting tenant governance. What you'll be doing
Working from approved policies and principles, identifying options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability and agree solution with key stakeholders and sign-offs.
Document the specification, with maximum clarity (e.g. including any agreed data labels from data dictionary) and acceptance criteria.
Where tractable, create example spreadsheets / branching diagrams etc to illustrate logic to key stakeholders and sign-offs.
Define clear links to any centralised parameters (e.g. PLSA standards, State Pension values, contribution allowances etc).
Specify where centralised calculations services are being used - specify inputs and outputs to centralised service.
Clarify what is and isn’t configurable per tenant.
Work with Product Managers, User Experience Designers, Engineers and Quality Engineering to ensure efficient build and testing of specification.
Produce documentation in a format appropriate for our internal record keeping, ‘ready to build' and 'done' stage gates.
Adhere to all Information Security policies and procedures.

Your Experience Essential
Experience of working as a Senior Business Analyst (or equivalent) role in a financial services environment.
Relevant Business Analyst qualifications.
Understanding of retail financial services and digital services.
Dealing with complex mappings of processes or logic.
Desirable
Experience in the delivery of financial guidance & advice.
Experience in the delivery of digital services.
Experience of agile delivery and working with software Product teams.
Related qualifications (e.g. Diploma Qualified - RFP level 4, Project Management, Agile Development).
