The Growth Product Group is an influential team with a big mission. We want to help millions of organisations around the world grow through empowering people to discover, adopt, and buy HubSpot’s products the way they want to. To achieve this, we focus on acquisition, onboarding, retention, and monetisation across the entire HubSpot product platform.
Our Growth Acquisition Core team plays a crucial role in the success of other product teams by creating the tools, libraries, components and apps used to drive adoption of our product and to deliver the best in-app onboarding experience. This team sits at the intersection of platform and product, so we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who enjoys the challenge of delivering for both internal and external users and elevating the team to the next level as they explore new projects.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Software Engineer I, Front End on the Growth Acquisition team, you will:
Design and build scalable, user-friendly front-end applications that improve onboarding and product adoption experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to ship high-quality features quickly.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in React, TypeScript, and other modern web technologies.
Contribute to front-end architecture and design decisions that support long-term scalability and performance.
Mentor and support other engineers on the team, helping raise the technical bar.
Use data and experimentation (A/B testing, feature flags) to validate impact and guide product decisions.
Continuously look for ways to improve usability, accessibility, and performance in the customer experience.
We’re looking for people who:
Have strong experience building front-end applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment where experimentation drives learning.
Understand how to build for performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
Have experience working with APIs and collaborating with back-end engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
Are proactive collaborators who enjoy working closely with cross-functional partners (Product, UX, Data).
Take ownership of their work and are excited to see it make an impact on customers and business growth.
Bring a growth mindset and eagerness to share knowledge, mentor, and learn from peers.
Nice to have:
Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing frameworks.
Knowledge of front-end build tools, CI/CD, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with customer acquisition, onboarding, or growth-focused product development.
