Senior Sales Intelligence Manager
This is a remote position for remote candidates in the United States
Play a pivotal role within the Sales Planning and operations team shaping key business planning capabilities across platforms including Power BI, Salesforce, and Xactly. The position's primary objective will be to develop and maintain analytics maximizing sales impact and driving decisions around performance management, pricing, territory alignments and commission. You will partner directly with key business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the business and their processes and challenges to create and maintain actionable reporting/analytics that helps shape the future state of Sales Planning and Sales Performance.
Strong business analysis skills, data skills, and a curiosity for solving complex challenges through data mining, aggregation and visualization are success factors in this role. Ideal candidates will be up to date on emerging technology, build and deepen relationships with business stakeholders and business partners, and have a strong, analytical mind with proven problem-solving abilities. Deep perspective around best in class CRM structure, sales planning process development, UI design, repeatability for scale, and maintainability of the E2E environment is critical.
What you'll be doing:
- Work directly with sales leaders, functional stakeholders and department executives to deliver business intelligence solutions
- Support our data and business intelligence technology strategy providing key inputs to enable our long-term roadmap for a scalable, integrated infrastructure
- Analyze business performance daily to identify issues/opportunities that are highlighted by the data, and then work with the various cross-functional teams to address those issues and opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Business Operations leadership to effectively capture requirements for decision making analytics, and then manage the design/build/UAT/Delivery cycle to effectively meet timelines
- Run ad-hoc analyses and special initiatives, working with large data sets to assess business performance and inform business decisions
- Help build, maintain, and report on complex sales, financial and analytical data models
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify new reporting and data requirements, document requirements, build reports and coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to provide the necessary data points
- Investigate anomalies in reporting data, and assist in any clean up or communication required as a result
- Provide thought leadership telling the story behind the numbers
What you'll have
- 5+ years' experience with in-depth sales operations analytics, business intelligence, finance, statistics, mathematics experience
- 5+ years' experience in Sale Operations working on transformative projects or initiatives
- Technically savvy - Proficiency with SPM technologies like Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView and other platforms
- Advanced Excel skills - including experience with data manipulations - Lookups, PivotTables, Macros and external data connections
- Strategic Thinking - Experience working with senior stakeholders in developing and implementing new analytics packages enabling strategic decision making impacting the business across multiple functions
- Strong Communicator- Excellent spoken and written communications as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving- Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper analytical processes and procedures, independently derive conclusions and present results to the team
- Curious and Driven- Self-directed work style; resourceful with a strong work ethic and passion for learning new concepts or tools
