Senior QA Analyst - Star Trek Fleet Command
Scopely is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team within our Midcore division in Barcelona or Ireland on a hybrid/remote basis.
At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people worldwide daily.
Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.
What You Will Do
Play a supporting role to all internal QA resources, reviewing, assisting, and contributing to quality efforts across the team as needed

Support with the creation, maintenance, and coverage of relevant suites and associated test cases across the different teams you engage with
Review and challenge team test plans, including scope of coverage, estimate accuracy, and resourcing needs from conception through to release
Help the internal QA resource to liaise and coordinate with a team of offshore testers, defining and communicating expectations, while monitoring progress and results
Review and (where necessary) align and train external test teams to conform to expected bug reporting standards, while maintaining a tidy and prioritised backlog in coordination with the QA Leadership team
Rates, via tools such as Datadog / Google Play / Apple Connect, particularly following a release in which you have supported
Aligning with QA leadership, help standardise processes across Pods and Clusters, providing feedback and suggestions to better these where applicable
Work closely with Customer Support & the Live & Release Cluster to investigate, document, and (where necessary) push for swift resolution of Live issues, owning and understanding where potential gaps existed, and plugging these for future circumstances
Support the QA leadership team in attaining the department's goals through ownership and tracking of KPOs / OKRs
What We're Looking For
Strong verbal / written communication skills and an excellent attention to detail
Strong time management, accountability, and organisational skills
An ability to negotiate and ensure you and your team's message is heard, all the while with a sound business understanding to ensure a correct balance and needs are met

Flexible to an agile setup with the ability to multitask, managing coverage for multiple high-profile releases with strict deadlines
A strong commercial awareness with an understanding of business priorities and goals
Exceptional reporting capabilities
Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug tracking systems
Bonus Points
Background in Automation testing
Mobile exposure and an understanding of Apple / Google submission protocol
A sound understanding of the gaming industry and the typical end-to-end development lifecycle
