About This Role:

iRhythm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be the own & manage the success of devices within the Zio platform. This individual will be responsible for the development, life cycle management, service operations, data analytics, and commercial performance of the biosensor hardware and service. This is an exciting opportunity for a person interested in the intersection of Digital Health, Devices & AI in Medicine, and passionate about driving innovation, product/ market fit and market growth in a highly competitive cardiac monitoring space. 

The Senior Product Manager role is highly cross-functional and detail oriented, requiring the individual to interface with and work closely with departments throughout the company to synthesize clinical, technical, operational, commercial and market perspectives to advance the clinical value of our long-term continuous monitoring solutions. This individual will be expected to work closely with a cross-functional team on conducting Voice of the Customer research, informing the Product Roadmap of new features, managing new features from development through launch, as well as driving product/ market fit and commercial success of this product line.

This is a highly visible and key role within the organization spanning many activities from strategic to tactical in defining and executing the Product strategy, operations, and growth. The individual will need to form a strong partnership with iRhythm’s US Commercial team (sales and marketing) to drive sustainable, double-digit growth.  

Primary responsibilities will include:

Product Management

  • Manage successful product launches for features and functionality. This includes coordinating product launch readiness activities across R&D, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Sales Enablement, Sales Training, and Marketing.

  • Maintain feature-level backlog and roadmap.

  • Establish self as the product expert clinically, technically, and commercially

  • Define, track and report product health, deliver communications/presentations on product status and future strategies, and manage a strong product prioritization process to focus on high value activities that drive product growth.

  • Conduct regular business reviews for product with read out on business performance relative to market dynamics, underscoring what’s going well and our opportunities to propel growth

  • Maintain strong pulse on customer feedback for product and service improvement areas through Sales & Customer engagement, including supporting objection handling.

  • Drive cross-functional teams to reach milestones on time and on budget

  • Collaborate with the Product Management team members on the development of processes around product development  

Drive Commercial Success

  • Manage Business and Product operations for product. This includes collaborating closely with the Commercial team on Product Marketing and Sales Enablement needs to drive continued success of this product line.

  • Develop product pricing strategy, product positioning and market segmentation/ targeting. Exhibit strong analytical abilities for market segmentation and analysis to understand and inform Target Market optimization for the product.

  • Work closely with Medical Affairs and the Clinical and Economic Research team on RWE needs for the product. 

  • Become expert in competitive intelligence in the mobile cardiac telemetry market. Maintain competitive matrix products in the market to help inform product and service enhancements, as well as competitive marketing messaging and objection handling messaging.

  • Work closely with Sales leadership to vet target market opportunities and keep a pulse on barriers and areas of opportunity for the product.

  • Forecast and track product sales and contribution margins, with a solid understanding of the P&L impact of product related decisions.

Support Sales & Marketing

  • Collaborate closely with sales and downstream marketing on go-to market strategy, tools, positioning and KOL/reference development.

  • Engage with Product Marketing on communication of core value proposition for the product within the IRTC platform of products, as well as product launch planning and execution.

  • Provide sales support by providing product expertise and product-specific presentation materials.

  • Be responsible for the Marketing Requirements Document and business case for all products in development, including required clinical claims.

  • Engage the Sales Enablement & Training teams in developing training programs for the field teams and sales force among others.

About you:

  • 7+ years of global health tech (device, software or service) product management (development, launch and life cycle management experience) and marketing

  • 3+ years’ experience developing roadmaps that delivered solutions, fulfilling unmet customer needs

  • 3+ years of Problem Solving & Innovation, and driving Product Feature Prioritization to guide building the most impactful product features for clinical & business value

  • 3+ years experience building and socializing product roadmaps with cross functional team input

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive cross-functional accountability for achieving results

  • Self-starter with a desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment

  • Be able to bring/create best-practices to product management processes

  • Demonstrated change management capability; leads change by designing new solutions and aligns work partners to understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ on new tools and services.

  • Past experience with cardiac monitoring strongly desired

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and effectively prioritize time

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make data-driven decisions

  • Past user need development experience acting as a Product Owner strongly desired

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite

  • BA/BS in marketing, science or technical field. Advanced degree or MBA desired.

  • Ability to travel 20-30% of time
