Description

Your role

In EU households, heating and hot water alone account for 79% of total energy use. By making heating smart we make a difference for the planet and people’s lives: Our products empower our customers to significantly reduce energy consumption while improving their comfort.

As (Senior) Product Manager Residential Real Estate you will create and continuously improve connected devices for the housing industry (“Wohnungswirtschaft”) which save energy and costs in large residential buildings.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility is making sure we’re building “the right thing” (market positioning and requirements). You will closely collaborate with an Engineering Manager focused on “building the thing right” (delivery) and a Technical Product Owner focused on technical specification. In close collaboration with your team, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer value: Engaging with customers ( landlords), users (tenants), and various stakeholders in the Proptech space to fully understand their needs and challenge our own assumptions

  • Business value: Making sure all products we’re building are backed by a strong business case and will help us grow a profitable company

  • Prioritization: Deciding what to build next (from small features to larger opportunities) based on structured, data-driven analyses

  • Project management and negotiation: Coordinating the overarching project management to ensure we are meeting customer contractual obligations and milestones as well as negotiating changes to contracts and milestones

  • Stakeholder management: Structure communication with internal (e.g. Management, Sales, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders (e.g. large customers, technology and business partners) to facilitate transparency and decision making

  • Product strategy and vision: Forming a clear product vision, strategy, and priorities and aligning them within your team and the company

  • Measuring success: Defining and tracking success metrics to relentlessly measure if your team is creating value for our customers and business

Requirements
