The Onboarding Innovation Team (OIT) sits within the Customer Onboarding Group of the Growth Product Line at HubSpot. The team’s mission is to explore and prototype AI-powered experiences that radically improve time to value for new customers. We operate on two fronts: first, by developing and validating enhancements in partnership with our core onboarding teams that seamlessly integrate into our existing experience; and second, by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through rapid experimentation and visionary proofs of concept. Our work ensures HubSpot remains at the forefront of innovation and self-disruption. We’re looking for a product manager who blends deep technological curiosity with product strategy—someone who gets excited about emerging technologies and can turn ambitious ideas into product realities.

Please note: due to the location of the current team, this hire must be located in the Eastern Time Zone of the US.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Create a shared vision and cohesive roadmap for exploring how AI and emerging tech can reinvent onboarding for HubSpot customers

  • Drive alignment, set goals, build understanding and motivate others, including cross-functional partners across the company

  • Rapidly prototype and test novel onboarding experiences, using tools like Lovable, Bolt, and Replit to bring concepts to life quickly

  • Work across teams to influence and inspire other Product Managers through deep knowledge of what’s possible with cutting-edge technologies

  • Partner closely with engineering, UX, data science, and core onboarding teams to validate and scale ideas that show promise

  • Stay on the pulse of the AI ecosystem, experimenting with new models, tools, and interfaces to uncover opportunities before they’re mainstream

  • Engage directly and often with customers to understand their first impressions and barriers during onboarding

  • Use data to measure the impact of your experiments and identify new areas to explore

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience launching innovative or technically complex products and AI features

  • A technologist’s curiosity—constantly staying current with advancements in AI and emerging platforms

  • A bold approach to product development, unafraid to test unconventional ideas or challenge norms

  • A multidisciplinary approach to thinking, combining market, technical, and user insights to identify big opportunities

  • The ability to influence and inspire cross-functional partners and fellow PMs

  • A drive to deeply understand customer needs and solve for them in elegant and powerful ways

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills

  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities

  • Experience using rapid prototyping or vibe coding tools to move quickly and iterate

  • Bonus: hands-on experience with AI prototyping tools like Lovable, Bolt, or Replit

Cash compensation range: 158000-253000 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
