This role is a cornerstone of our efforts to empower HubSpot with seamless, compliant, and scalable procurement and payment operations. You'll be at the forefront of our mission to simplify and automate complex supplier, contract, procurement, and payment workflows for our employees and partners.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires a deep understanding of procurement, contract management, vendor management, and finance workflows, combined with a passion for solving complex problems through innovative systems. You'll have the opportunity to leverage automation and AI to reimagine the P2P experience and shape the future of financial and operational efficiency at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive alignment and motivate cross-functional partners, including Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, and Engineering.

  • Guide new system enhancements and integrations from concept through launch, ensuring scalability and compliance.

  • Engage with stakeholders directly and often to deeply understand procurement and payment workflows, pain points, and opportunities.

  • Use data and process insights to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.

  • Lead the strategy for key areas of P2P, including contract lifecycle management (IronClad), supplier onboarding and case management (ServiceNow), procurement and invoicing (Coupa), and financial integration (NetSuite).

  • Champion automation, AI, and emerging technologies to create intelligent, streamlined workflows across the P2P lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field required; MBA preferred. 7+ years of relevant professional experience, including 4+ years managing procure-to-pay or enterprise financial systems (Coupa, NetSuite, IronClad, ServiceNow).

  • Strong experience in financial technology, procurement, or enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Proven success in building or scaling P2P systems supporting end-to-end procurement and payment processes.

  • Deep understanding of procurement, contract management, supplier management, accounts payable, and finance workflows.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and a commitment to data accuracy, compliance, and process optimization.

  • Experience launching enterprise-wide systems or enhancements successfully.

  • A multidisciplinary approach, combining business process, market, and technical insights to weigh tradeoffs and identify opportunities.

  • Ability to articulate system and product vision to a variety of stakeholders, from executives to end users.

  • A collaborative mindset with deep respect for cross-functional expertise (Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, Engineering).

  • A passion for understanding user and stakeholder needs deeply and solving for them effectively.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

  • A passion for growing healthy teams, cultivating psychological safety, and facilitating tough but productive conversations.

  • Ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate—even without perfect information.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Familiarity with the competitive landscape of P2P and enterprise business systems.
