Senior Product Manager - Data

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Data to join our Data team! The Data team is responsible for building and maintaining cutting-edge data science, AI, and ML capabilities to help both our business and our customers scale and operate more efficiently.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and execute on key initiatives that leverage data to drive real-world customer and business impact. This is a high-impact role where your work optimizes the shipping experience for our customers. You will leverage new technologies, tackle complex engineering and data science challenges, craft scalable solutions, and make our entire customer platform more intelligent.

Shipping & handling responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the development and execution of product strategy for data science and ML-powered solutions

• Partner with data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize key features

• Own the definition of key metrics, tracking, and reporting to measure the success and impact of data initiatives

• Drive product roadmap for AI and ML capabilities that improve shipping operations and provide intelligent insights

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for both internal teams and external customers

Do you tick the boxes?

• 4–6 years of product management experience with a technology company, with 1–2 years focused on data products or AI/ML

• Product management experience in a B2B or B2B2C context

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with data science, design, and engineering teams

• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making

• Experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycle

• Proven experience working cross-functionally and leading through influence, not necessarily through authority

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for a variety audiences and technical backgrounds

Nice to Have

• 1–2 years of product management experience in e-commerce, logistics, or shipping operations technology

• Technical background in data science or statistics

• Familiarity with ML platforms, data visualization tools, and analytics

$135,000 - $182,000 a year

Our Compensation Shippolicy:

We believe compensation is a custom experience and are commited to fair and equitable compensation practices. The standard base pay range for this role is min is $135k to a max $182k annual salary. We tend to anchor our pay in the middle of this range ($158k). Since we are focused on hiring Shippos Everywhere, we have 2 US pay ranges, a standard compensation range for the majority of the US and a standard +1 compensation range for those who live in areas where the cost of labor is higher, such as NYC and California.

The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: financial budgets, work experience, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market value. The base pay salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future. Total compensation for this role will include, equity, medical, dental, vision and other benefits noted in our Shippos “package” section.
