THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite has built its business on empowering event creators with tools to sell out their events and connect people through live experiences. As we aim to become the go-to destination for discovering and attending live events, we must ensure our checkout experience is best-in-class—simple, trustworthy, and optimized for conversion.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own our checkout experience, helping millions of attendees confidently select the right ticket and complete their purchase with ease and flexibility. This person will lead the charge in delivering a seamless, intuitive checkout flow that drives business outcomes and delights users.

THE TEAM

You’ll join a passionate global team of product managers, designers, and engineers dedicated to creating frictionless, high-performing consumer experiences. We’re collaborative, impact-driven, and energized by the opportunity to help people connect through live events. The Checkout team owns the full stack of the purchase experience—from simple single ticket events, to complex 200,000 capacity venues—and is critical to Eventbrite’s growth.

THE ROLE

As the Product Manager for Checkout, you’ll define and drive the strategy for how we help users choose the right ticket and complete their purchase with their preferred payment method—confidently and effortlessly. You’ll identify conversion opportunities, run experiments, and partner closely with design, engineering, analytics, and marketing to increase sales for our creators and satisfaction for our buyers.

You’ll bring a strong product sense and a clear vision for what a great marketplace looks like. You’ll be equally comfortable iterating quickly on low-lift wins and mapping out long-term bets to evolve our purchase flow into a differentiated advantage for our marketplace.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of the buyer journey, touching all areas of our platform and directly influencing our ability to grow.

YOU WILL

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Eventbrite’s merchandizing experience

  • Deeply understand our buyers and creators through data, research, and empathy—and translate those insights into product opportunities

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase conversion, reduce friction, and grow sales through rapid experimentation and long-term innovation

  • Drive a world-class user experience that helps buyers find the right tickets, pay how they want, and feel confident in their purchase

  • Collaborate across engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and payments to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience

  • Balance multiple types of product work from experimentation, product expansion, and technical investments

  • Set clear goals and success metrics for your team, and lead with energy, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence

  • Inspire and align cross-functional partners, keeping everyone focused on what matters most to our users and the business

THE SKILLSET

  • 4–7 years of product management experience in consumer-facing products, ideally in ecommerce or marketplaces

  • Proven track record of driving impact through product experimentation and learning

  • Experience in marketplace or ecommerce checkout, payments, or conversion optimization

  • Deep customer empathy and a user-first mindset, with experience conducting or partnering on research

  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience defining success metrics and using them to guide decisions

  • Skilled at collaborating across disciplines and navigating technical complexity, especially with backend systems

  • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate vision, strategy, and rationale to stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams

BONUS POINTS

  • Background working on experimentation platforms or running A/B tests at scale

  • Familiarity with frontend and backend architecture of complex systems

  • Passion for live events and belief in their power to bring people together
