Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our design team focused on FieldEdge — our all-in-one platform that helps contractors manage everything from scheduling and dispatch to billing and customer communications. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver intuitive, scalable experiences that empower both office staff and technicians in the field. You’ll play a key role in shaping the product strategy and design vision while solving real-world problems for our users.

You’ll be part of a talented team of eight designers working across different software products within Xplor, giving you the opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge, and grow alongside a strong and supportive design community — while also owning end-to-end design for FieldEdge.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will:

  • Lead design discussions and define strategy for key product initiatives, translating user needs into intuitive and scalable solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to drive work from discovery through delivery.

  • Execute thoughtful, high-quality design work with a strong attention to detail, ensuring alignment with FieldEdge's goals and Xplor’s broader design system.

  • Own user research efforts — plan, conduct, and synthesize insights to inform your designs and improve the user experience.

  • Design seamless, user-friendly mobile experiences for both iOS and Android platforms, with a deep understanding of platform best practices and constraints.

  • Confidently present your work and rationale to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, adapting communication to your audience.

  • Participate and facilitate design critiques, encouraging feedback and collaboration across teams.

  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to team culture, growth, and shared learning.

  • Contribute to and evolve design systems, pattern libraries, and documentation to ensure consistency across the platform.

The average base salary pay range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design expertise across web and mobile platforms.

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or tech environments.

  • Experience designing and executing large-scale projects from concept to launch.

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and experience with user research and testing.

  • Proven experience designing mobile applications that have been published and are live.

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and a keen understanding of design systems.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present work confidently to stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and capable of leading design efforts with minimal guidance.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments where adaptability is key.
