  • You’ll communicate your design thinking and ideas through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs.

  • You’ll engage with our user base and the wider GitLab community to understand their pain points and work toward long-term fixes that enable them to succeed with their goals.

  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pricing and packaging innovations that align with GitLab's business strategy and customer needs.

  • You’ll undertake usability testing to validate your thinking. (We’ve got an excellent team of UX Researchers who can offer guidance, as needed.)

What you'll bring

  • Experience with billing, subscriptions, or software fulfillment in an enterprise B2B environment. Alternatively, experience in related areas such as ecommerce, internal tooling, free-to-paid conversion, or product-led growth within an enterprise B2B context.

  • Experience conducting your own research with a variety of methods, and strong decision making skills for when to do research.

  • Solid visual design skills with the ability to balance leveraging the design system and recognizing when a unique component is needed.

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and the SDLC.

  • Familiarity with Git and HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
